Social Event
The Social Event of the European Planetary Science Congress 2014 will be a conference dinner held at Hotel Vila D’Óbidos on Wednesday, 10 September 2014.
Buses will pick up all Social Event participants at the Estoril Congress Centre by 17:45 and will drive to Óbidos. Before dinner, participants will be able to explore the beautiful and ancient village of Óbidos located at a one hour journey through the West Region of Portugal.
The dinner will be served at 20:00 and will be composed on three menus of your choice on a meat, fish or vegan dish.

The total cost for Dinner + Travel is €35.
Please note that there is only a limited number of tickets available, so please make your reservation soon and do not miss the chance to visit one of the most emblematic villages in Portugal and delight yourself with the local Portuguese gastronomy. Your participation in the Social Event is only confirmed in case of a paid registration by 15 August 2014.
In case of cancellation, the Social Event tickets can only be refunded in case of a written notification / cancellation (meetings@copernicus.org) before 10 August 2014.
